“To celebrate Children’s Day, we want to help children in need.” This is the simple motivation behind Qisahn’s donation drive. For a holiday that brings to mind images of joyful faces and beaming smiles, what could be more fitting?
From today till 15 October 2021, customers can trade in their video games and consoles, be it used, working, or broken, to participate in the charity effort. Qisahn will donate the total trade-in value of all the video games and consoles they receive to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The idea of raising money by collecting broken and damaged video games and consoles is prompted by how many people consider those things to be of no value. Rather than having all those video games and consoles go straight to the waste, Qisahn will accommodate them, allowing donors to do good using items that are, at initial glance, worthless.
To clarify, Qisahn will take in the video games and consoles from donors, and donate the trade-in value denoted in the lists above to Children’s Cancer Foundation. They, too, believe in supporting cancer-affected children fully, providing them with what they need. Should Qisahn manage to raise even more by selling the donated consoles at a higher price, they will also be donating the additional amount to Children’s Cancer Foundation.
This continues Qisahn’s streak of giving back to society as a way to do their part in these trying and uncertain times. Last year, the company donated S$25,000 to the Children’s Society, having found themselves unexpectedly becoming more profitable in the pandemic.
What better way to celebrate Children’s Day by giving more children opportunities to smile and moments of joy?
Be part of the donation drive, and drop your used video games and consoles at Qisahn’s store, or contact them at +65 31593099, on Facebook, or via email at [email protected] to arrange for a pick-up at your convenience.
