Revamped Pokémon Center Singapore Evolves With Local Store Concept & Exclusive Items From 1 July

Heads up, Pokémon trainers! It’s time to set forth on another adventure back to Jewel Changi Airport, as the Pokémon Center Singapore is finally set for its grand reopening on 1 July 2026, bringing with it not just a revitalised space inspired by local heritage, but also plenty of SG-exclusive merch.

Pokémon Center

Returning after a temporary hiatus on 1 April 2026, the newly revamped Pokémon Center Singapore immediately catches the attention thanks to its new symbol Pokémon, Solgaleo, with a majestic statue welcoming visitors with its sun-like mane, an apt representation of our very own sunny Lion City. Of course, the adorable Pikachu remains the face of the franchise, and that’s why his statue stands side-by-side with his giant new legendary friend, all against the backdrop of a virtual screen featuring Singaporean landscapes housing other Pokémon pals.

Upon entry, visitors are greeted with the full splendour of the store’s new interior, which not just presents a clean and sophisticated look, but is also optimised for the visitor experience, with the store now split into different themed zones inspired by Singapore’s rich cultural heritage.

Up front lie shelves upon shelves of Pokémon merch, all paying tribute to Singapore’s traditional architecture and cityscape. These range from Pokémon Center staples like soft toys and keychains from the OG “Chonky” Pikachu, to giant Poké Balls and adorable plushies ranging across all Pokémon generations.

Further in lies a shelf beautifully designed after Singapore’s local food court culture, with a statue trio of Wattrel, Munchlax, and Flareon sharing a delightful meal of berries. Other Pokémon Center Singapore highlights include an interactive Pokédex display where visitors can search for their favourite characters and view their stats, a Marina Bay-themed event space to house TCG workshops, battles, and mascot appearances, alongside an upgraded checkout counter to serve customers more efficiently.

Of course, no revamp would be complete without a healthy dose of exclusive merchandise, and to celebrate its reopening, the Pokémon Center Singapore is going all out with a host of commemorative merchandise specifically designed for its Lion City outlet.

Arriving in waves starting 1 July, the first batch includes 12 curated items headlined by the Solgaleo and Pikachu two-in-one plush (S$70), the Pikachu with Durian plush (S$34), and the Pokémon Center Singapore exclusive Logo Pin (S$10). Other uniquely Singaporean merchandise includes metal plates, magnets, and folders featuring original artwork of Pokémon in a Singapore-inspired cityscape, a Kopi Cup & Saucer Set, and assorted Pokémon Strap Keychains. Wave 2 will consist of an assortment of bag charms featuring Pikachu with local treats like a durian, a cup of kopi, or a slice of pandan cake, themed pouches and a tote bag, and will arrive on 7 August 2026.

To prepare for Pokémon Center Singapore’s imminent opening, admissions during its opening week (1 July to 5 July 2026) will be managed via a combination of advance reservations and same-day queue entry tickets. Advanced reservations for early entry to the store have already concluded, so those who have yet to do so can still opt for same-day queue entry tickets, which will be distributed on-site from 8:30AM daily on a first-come, first-served basis, with admissions starting from 1PM onwards.
