Spooky season is here, and that means there’s plenty of the Halloween spirit to go around. The celebration has always been an annual staple in Overwatch 2, and the team will be bringing something more hellish to this year’s mix.
Released on X (formerly known as Twitter), the teaser for Season 7: Rise of Darkness offers a quick look at what’s to come. In addition to the Blizzard World map, updated to fit the game’s Halloween PvE event Junkenstein’s Revenge, fans can expect a devilish beautiful Moira skin themed after Diablo IV‘s main antagonist, Lilith, as well.
Little else is known about the upcoming season, but leaks on Reddit have seemingly unveiled Halloween-inspired cosmetics for Widowmaker and Echo, as well as a new Mythic skin for Hanzo.
Apart from the chills and thrills, Samoa is also getting released as a new control map where players fight over areas that include a beach, downtown, and volcano points. It will launch alongside Season 7 on 10 October.
This isn’t the first time that Overwatch 2 has welcomed the Diablo flair. Previously, Zarya, Sombra, and Roadhog received crossover skins that took after the Barbarian and Demon Hunter classes, as well as the Butcher, respectively.
