With Mario Strikers: Battle League set to launch on the Nintendo Switch this coming 10 June, fans are certainly starved for details. Thankfully, the Big N has dropped a brand new trailer that is quite comprehensive, going over more of the gameplay, characters, modifications and more involved in Mario Strikers: Battle League.
With developers Next Level Games at the helm, there is much action to be had on the pitch. Even with the Japanese-only trailer (at this moment), we can glean much from what is being highlighted.
We see different characters using various dodge moves, tackles, passes, and shots, and how smart use of items can easily turn the tide. Players can even use their own teammates for a boost to regain the ball or find some room to take a shot. Naturally, the game will feature insane skills, such as the Hyper Shot, which not only look flashy but can affect your opponents in different ways.
Characters can also be customised in Mario Strikers: Battle League, giving the likes of Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Rosalina, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario, and Waluigi more options for their gear while benefitting from stat bonuses. Players looking to get online or engage in multiplayer matches will have those options as well, with regular seasons part of the package.
As per the trailer, Mario Strikers: Battle League will release on the Nintendo Switch next month on 10 June.
