The current global landscape has forced many businesses to essentially overhaul their daily operations to be able to function as per normal. As such, many tech companies have risen to the challenge in meeting these new needs.
Danish audio brand Jabra has been one of those among its ilk to lead the charge in streamlining the WFH experience. Recently, it announced its new Jabra Evolve2 range of professional headsets, which aim to provide an ample amount of noise cancellation to block out any unnecessary sounds during all-important online meetings.

The line comes in three models – the wireless Evolve2 85 and Evolve2 65, and the wired Evolve2 40. Most strikingly, this line comes with a Microsoft Teams variant, which features a dedicated button just for Microsoft Teams, located on the right earcup of each model. When pressed, the button allows users to get on Microsoft Teams much faster, with the ability to answer calls, join rooms, and open Teams voicemail in just the press of a button.
All three models come with innate passive noise cancellation, which by default blocks out any surrounding noise thanks to their over-ear (Evolve2 85) and on-ear (Evolve2 65 and 40) cushions and closed earcup design. The Evolve2 85, the most premium headset of the bunch, takes things one step further with its hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), allowing users to filter out even more diegetic sound to be able to focus more keenly on meetings or their music.
They also each feature Jabra’s signature integrated 360° busylight, which, when switched on, allows others to notice whether the user is preoccupied at work by way of small red lights that appear on the outer rim of the earcups.
The two wireless models, the Evolve2 85 and Evolve2 65, both come with the always-handy Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which allows them to pair seamlessly with just about any device that supports it. They can pair up to two devices simultaneously, with a wireless range of up to 30m/100ft, and have a battery life of up to 37 hours — perfect for consecutive days of productive work and/or play.
In addition, the Evolve2 series will feature Jabra’s all-new packaging that is 100% sustainable, which is made up of 80% recycled materials. Water-based and eco-friendly soy oil-based inks are used for the packaging itself, with no plastic bags or foam in it. To limit paper wastage, the User Manual for each device can be found online.
The Jabra Evolve2 line will launch in Singapore in June 2020 at all authorised Jabra retailers, including Lazada, Shopee, and Amazon.sg.
