After the release of the Fear Street trilogy on Netflix, the series will be back with a new movie. R.L. Stine’s The Prom Queen will be adapted as the fourth movie in the series with an all-new plot and cast, set in Shadyside High.
The overarching plot of the series brings rival towns Sunnyvale and Shadyside into conflict, with Shadyside seemingly cursed by a supernatural presence. It’s likely that this plot will continue into the new movie, which looks to be a night out to remember for students of Shadyside High.
The Fear Street trilogy stars Olivia Welch (Panic), Kiana Madeira (Trinkets), and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things). Casting details for the new movie are unknown for now, but further developments are expected to follow in the next few months,
