Old faces are set to return as well, with most of the original cast reprising their roles for round two in the ring. It’s a good time to be a fan of the series. Apart from the upcoming feature, there’s also NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 (formerly referred to as Mortal Kombat 12) lined up for 19 September, which promises even more bloodbath and brutal fatalities to come.
