LEGO Teases ‘Animal Crossing’ Collaboration With First Look At Tom Nook, Isabelle, And More

The world of LEGO is crossing over to Animal Crossing! After months of rumours, the highly-anticipated partnership was finally confirmed, with a teaser giving a first look at the characters, who look absolutely adorable as minifigures.

The 11-second video features Tom Nook, Isabelle, Kapp’n, Rosie, Bunnie, Marshal, Julian, and Fauna standing in front of brick-built trees as they turn their gaze to a floating balloon in the air. No further details on the upcoming set or a release date were announced, though leaks in August suggested a March 2024 release for five full sets.

As reported by VGC, prices for the range will lie somewhere between US$14.99 to US$74.99. Set 77046 (all of the names were not revealed) is set to reportedly have 170 pieces for US$14.99, while the 164-piece 77407 will retail for US$19.99. Set 77048 allegedly comes in at US$29.99 for 233 pieces, and 77049 will have 389 pieces at US$39.99. Lastly, 77050 is a US$74.99 set with 535 pieces. Do take these details with a grain of salt, however, as they aren’t official.

Still, it shouldn’t take too long before LEGO releases more information about the Animal Crossing kits. Traditionally, a full reveal usually follows within 24 hours, so expect updates on the official LEGO store over the next day or so.

Animal Crossing x LEGO

This isn’t the first collaboration between the Danish toy brand and Nintendo, either. Apart from a series of Super Mario Bros. kits, there was also a Nintendo Entertainment System set that took fans back in time to the good, old days.

The next question now is whether the long-rumoured Legend of Zelda sets will become reality as well (pretty please, with a cherry on top!); alternatively, if fan favourites K.K. Slider and Raymond are joining the Animal Crossing LEGO family.
