In just three days, the collaboration saw a massive influx in shoppers on the e-commerce platform, spending over 500,000 cumulative hours shopping, with over 85,000 shoppers took part in the Slash It! price-reduction deals with their friends (more stats in the infographic at the bottom of this article). Thanks to its success, the collaboration will now continue into September with not one, but two events.
The first will be the 9.9 LazMall Big Brands Sale, which will take place from 9 – 13 September. The sale will feature some of the biggest discounts across 18,000 brands on LazMall, including LEGO, Adidas, Dyson, Braun, Philips, and Bose.
This sale also includes the third installation of the Lazada Online Tech Show in 2020, which hones in on the best deals in electronics on the e-commerce website.
As part of the collaboration, the convenience of Lazada’s e-commerce offerings will be combined in conjunction with Mediacorp’s broadcast expertise in bringing entertainment to shoppers, including television and radio spots, as they browse the platform.
