The first part of Invincible Season 2 left off on a cliffhanger with an imminent alien invasion, and a recently-released trailer is getting fans excited (and nervous) for what Part 2 has in store.
Mark/Invincible (Steven Yeun) returns to space to defeat the alien threat before it can reach Earth, but runs into trouble when parasitic aliens take over his friends. The aliens have already infiltrated Earth, as the trailer goes on to reveal, and a cruise ship gets attacked.
Meanwhile in space, Omni-Man is captured and interrogated by the Viltrumites, and is mocked about his ties to Earth. Things are not looking good for the show’s characters, and a funeral at the end of the trailer suggests that death looms ahead.
The YouTube trailer’s cheeky synopsis reads: “Mark goes back to college, reads his dad’s books, and nothing bad happens to him or his family.” This is a very official synopsis.
Invincible Season 2 Part 2 will release on Amazon Prime on 14 March 2024.
