Honkai: Star Rail x CHAGEE Singapore

‘Honkai: Star Rail’ & CHAGEE Singapore Host Character Launch Pop-Up Event With Themed Drinks

Honkai: Star Rail has taken players on an intergalactic adventure since its launch in April this year, introducing them to a host of both new and familiar faces. Now that the 1.1 update is coming to an end, things are kicking into high gear for the next wave of character releases, which will see 5-star characters Kafka and Blade added to the roster.

HoYoverse and beverage brand CHAGEE are looking to celebrate their arrival in style, joining forces to host the first physical event for the game in Singapore. From 19 to 30 July, the Funan, Chinatown Point, West Coast Plaza, JCube and Ang Mo Kio outlets will be decked out in Honkai: Star Rail-themed decor, with life-size standees lining their premises.

Two special drinks are also available during this period. The Caressing Moonlight White Peach Oolong Latte takes after Kafka, while the Hellscape Glutinous Green Tea Latte bears traces of Blade’s design. Exclusive merchandise that will be up for grabs include cup sleeves, coasters, special edition stickers, and in-game reward cards.

Rounding out the collaboration is a one-day pop-up event. Hailing from the one-day store manager (一日店長) tradition in Hong Kong and Taiwan, it sees cosplayers heading down to the outlets on 21 July to interact with fans and customers, as well as the first-ever Honkai: Star Rail itasha (a car decorated with images of characters from anime, manga, or video games) in Singapore.

The Honkai: Star Rail x CHAGEE Singapore experience is part of a bigger global campaign. Apart from Singapore, fans in the U.S. (Sunright Tea Studio), South Korea (Mauritius Brown), Japan (cafe on wheels at Tokyo and Osaka), France (Shodai Matcha), Germany (Comebuy), Argentina (Hero Anime Café), Philippines (Happy Lemon), Vietnam (Gong Cha Viet Nam), Thailand (Bearhouse), Malaysia (KOI), and Indonesia (Ramu Nostalgia) will able to join in on the fun.

It’s a celebration in more than one way, too. 19 July marks the launch of the game’s 1.2 update, which promises two additional areas to explore, a world of the Simulated Universe, a Forgotten Hall segment, an Echo of War, a Stagnant Shadow, a fresh Cavern of Erosion, new events, missions, and enemies, and of course, character banners for the stars of the show: Kafka and Blade.
