Halloween Horror Nights 11 Shines Blinding Lights With Haunted House Inspired By The Weeknd

If you thought The Weeknd’s character in The Idol was creepy, you better hold onto your socks for what Universal Studios Singapore has in store this Halloween. For the first time ever, the multi-award-winning artist has teamed up with Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights for a haunted house inspired by his highly acclaimed albums After Hours and Dawn FM.

The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Nightmare, following a successful run at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood last year, will feature five all-new rooms inspired by the singer’s fifth studio album, Dawn FM

Guests will navigate the eerie passages of The Weeknd’s unsettling nightclub, witnessing the terrors that await those confined within its walls and striving to break free from The Weeknd and his never-ending purgatory of pain. A horror film-inspired soundtrack featuring Grammy-winning producer Mike Dean’s remixes of songs from After Hours and Dawn FM will float through the darkened corridors, adding a musical touch to the nightmare.

“Halloween has been significant to my music and that makes Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights such a fun and novel stage to bring my music around the world. I’m thrilled to have a haunted house in Singapore and share this experience with my fans in Southeast Asia,” said Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye.

The Weeknd, a global phenomenon known for his groundbreaking music that fuses daring lyrics with innovative sounds, holds multiple records with Guinness World Records. With chart-topping hits and consecutive number-one albums, such as After Hours and Dawn FM, his impact on the music industry is undeniable. Not to mention his tour’s immense success of grossing over $350 million to date.

USS All of Us are Dead Halloween Horror Night

The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Nightmare will not be the only haunted house worth visiting, as Markham Gannon, Director of Resort Experience at Resorts World Sentosa, emphasises that there will be another haunted house based on a world-famous intellectual property.

“With The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Nightmare and Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead haunted houses, it is the first time that Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights will have two haunted houses based on world-famous intellectual properties. It is a great representation of the combination of Asian and Western elements that we have at the event, including the original content created for this region.”

With Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 11 boasting five haunted houses, three scare-zones, two live shows, and a multi-sensory dining experience, it truly is to die for.
