The Google Pixel series is known for its balance of value and performance, so it stands to reason that the Pixel 10 Pro XL will uphold the tradition. Just like its predecessors, the base price for the latest-gen device remains unchanged, but it doesn’t scrimp on upgrades that range from a Tensor G5 chipset to an improved camera system.
The beefed-up processor is accompanied by an Imagination DXT-48-1536 GPU under the hood, with a 6.8-inch Super Actua display that supports a 2,992-by-1,344-pixel OLED resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate bringing both hardware and visual prowess. While photography is largely considered its greatest strength, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL also proves competent at handling mobile gaming, delivering smooth gameplay at the highest settings in Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, and PUBG: Mobile. Zenless Zone Zero is a bit of an outlier, though.
Thermal management comes as the biggest surprise. Don’t be fooled by its compact 221-gram chassis — the handset can dissipate heat efficiently, keeping temperatures consistently under 40 degrees across all four titles while clocking 30 to 40 frames per second (FPS), an impressive feat rarely seen from similar builds on the market.
Check out how the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL runs in the video above, as it’s put to the test against various gaming demands and number-crunching in performance testing software PerfDog. The highest-end model of the lineup is available for pre-order now, and will come in the Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian colour options. It starts from S$1,739 for 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, upgradeable to 1TB (S$2,239).
