With plenty of big movies hitting cinemas this year like Argylle, Deadpool 3, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and more, Golden Village is bringing back its Annual Movie Pass just in time for a stacked year of film releases.
The challenge? 16 movies in 12 months. That’s an average of one movie a month, with five occasions to watch two movies a month. The months that you’ll want to save your pass entitlements for are from May to October, when all the biggest blockbusters will be playing. Check them out below.
Older cinema-goers might remember Golden Village’s opening heyday promotion with 10 tickets for S$45 in 1992, and while inflation might not be able to bring back the feeling of nostalgia, this new Annual Pass will be priced at S$120 for 16 tickets including 2D and ATMOS movies, and S$112 for GV Movie Club members (that’s S$8 for a ticket). The Annual Pass also will entitle passholders to Gold Class discounts.
Here are the details on Gold Class movie ticket discounts:
- S$3 off Gold Class movie tickets purchased over the counter (Valid from Mondays to Thursdays only)
- S$2 off Gold Class Express movie tickets purchased over the counter (Valid from Mondays to Thursdays only)
- S$1 off Gemini, Duo Deluxe, Deluxe Plus movie tickets purchased over the counter (Valid for all days)
To sweeten the deal, the pass even includes discounts on cinema snack combos at the box office from Mondays to Wednesdays. The concession benefits (Mondays to Wednesdays) are as follows:
- Regular Popcorn Combo @ S$7 (U.P S$11.70) ​
- Nachos Combo @ S$7 (U.P S$9.50) ​
- Hotdog Combo @ S$7(U.P S$9.00) ​
- Cheesy Chicken Meatballs Combo @ S$7 (U.P S$9)
Passholders will also get to enter a lucky draw with attractive prizes, and get discounts at participating merchants like My Greatest Child and Gumazing.
Golden Village’s Annual Movie Pass is available now at GV cinemas islandwide and on the GV website and iGV app.
