Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut – Monkey See Trophy Guide

While you are adventuring through Iki Island on the new Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, you might be wondering about certain trophies and their requirements. One of the more obscure ones happen to be the Monkey See trophy, and if you need help figuring that one out in Ghost of Tsushima, we have got you covered as always.

Here’s our guide to unlocking the Monkey See trophy in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

Guide To Unlocking The Monkey See Trophy In Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut

To begin, you will need to head to Saruiwa Mountain all the way in the southwest. Once you begin the climb up the imposing mountain, you will find three different monkey statues. Each will require a different action to trigger an event. Finish the Monkey Sanctuary activity at the top and you will unlock the Monkey See trophy in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut

1. Head to Saruiwa Mountain

Upon arriving, look for the steps between the two money statues. You can begin your climb from there, with the first important monkey statues just a short distance away.

Do note that these statues are not on the main path, and requires a slight deviation from the way to the top.

2. Hear No Evil

Near the starting area, you are going to find a grappling point to the left, climb up and follow the path. Eventually, you will reach a tightrope that leads you to a column where the first monkey resides.

As it is covering its ears, play the flute (any song will do) and a cutscene will take place. As such, you have honoured the first statue on your path to unlocking the Monkey See trophy in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

3. See No Evil

Heading down from the first statue, you will squeeze through a gap and continue climbing. Once you reach a stone arch, check the right for some climbing points to head down.

At the bottom, you will find the second monkey statue with its eyes closed. Throw a smoke bomb and watch the cutscene. There is also a neat Infamous Easter egg here as well!

4. Speak No Evil

Now, head through the stone arch and you will see a bamboo bridge. The main path is to continue climbing up, but we want to head down and reach a hook swing. Make a dive into the water below, and swim to the end.

On the left, you will find the third monkey statue in your quest to unlock the Monkey See trophy in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. Covering its mouth, all you need to do is bow and honour it.

5. Charm The Monkeys

Lastly, make your way back up and climb to the top. Here, you will find a Monkey Sanctuary. Play your flute well and you will obtain the Monkey See trophy in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

Of course, there are plenty more activities to get up to on Iki Island. If you are in need of help mastering those Archery Challenges, head on over to our guide to prepare yourself more adequately.
