Danny Ocean is back, as actor George Clooney has dropped a major update on Ocean’s 14, stating that the heist sequel will begin shooting in 2026, and feature a reunion of the original crew.

This comes via an interview with E! News during the New York Film Festival red carpet, where the 64-year-old spoke on the long-gestating follow-up to 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen. “We just got the budget approved at Warner Bros., and we’re trying to set up,” he explained, “It’s just scheduling, so it’s just setting a start date for us. It’ll probably start in about nine or ten months, shooting.”
When asked if he would be bringing the crew back together for one last job, Clooney also revealed that some familiar faces are set to return, including Brad Pitt’s Rusty Ryan, Matt Damon’s Linus Caldwell, Don Cheadle’s Basher Tarr, and Julia Roberts’ Tess Ocean.
At this point, nothing has been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. on the studio’s plans for Ocean’s 14, apart from Clooney’s comments, apart from the fact that The Fall Guy director David Leitch is in talks to take over from Steven Soderbergh to helm the latest movie.

Soderbergh directed the original Ocean’s trilogy, beginning with Ocean’s Eleven in 2001, which was a remake of the 1960 film Rat Pack. The film would go on to receive two sequels, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen, alongside a female-led 2018 spinoff, Ocean’s 8.
