A light-hearted comedy is the optimal solution to a long, dull, and tiring day at work or school. Be it slapstick humour, or a sarcastic brand of wittiness, it would help lift one’s spirits, if only a little.
Blockers, the newest comedy title in town, aims to bring laughter to the masses when it hits cinemas on April 19, 2018. Touted to be “elegantly witty yet deliriously raunchy” during its premiere at the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival, the title stars Leslie Mann, John Cena, and Ike Barinholtz. The narrative follows three parents as they go on a one-night operation to prevent their daughters from losing their virginity at prom.
With a rating of close to 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems the simple premise has taken off well among the movie-watching community.
