Gotta catch ’em all! With nine generations of video games under its belt, the Pokémon franchise has more than 1,000 critters to date, and its starter trios will be the focus of Casio‘s latest collaboration. The two companies have joined forces for a special G-Shock watch celebrating 30 years of Pokémon, which pays tribute to the original Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue titles and the various staple elements.

Using the iconic GA-110 as the base, it adopts the red, blue, and green colour scheme from the 1996 release for the watch hands, buttons, dial, and bezel. The inset dial at 9 o’clock features a Poké Ball design, complemented by a Pikachu-shaped indicator hand, while the case back is engraved with the 30th-anniversary logo. On the band, fans will find all three starter Pokémon from each generation, starting with the Kanto region to the Paldea region, alongside Pikachu and Eevee. Serving as a neat nod to series lore, the band loop honours Mew, bringing the total number of critters to 30.
The G-Shock Pokémon anniversary timepiece will come in Poké Ball-themed packaging, tucked into an outer box with the motif of all 30 Pokémon. As part of the G-Shock family, it offers shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance, and a 1/1000-second stopwatch, topped off with an auto LED light.

The collaboration model is priced at 33,000 yen and launches in Japan on 17 July. As with most products sold in Japan, it’s assigned to a lottery system, with registration running from 1 to 6 July. Fans in Singapore need not fret, however — it will be available locally (the only one in Southeast Asia), though pricing details and a release date have yet to be listed.
