Seeing as how 2015 is the year of Star Wars, Bandai Namco Games has developed an all-new arcade experience for us Star Wars geeks this year. Apparently, the Star Wars: Battle Pod is starting to roll out to selected arcade centres already. The machine is an actual pod you climb into, and its even equipped with vibrating seats and wind blowing in your face as you zoom through space on an X-wing (or Speeder bike on Endor)!
Shut up and take my money already! The question is, will we ever get this badass machine in our local arcade centres? It sure looks like a really expensive investment. I’ll leave you to marvel the gameplay below, filmed from a GoPro at 1080p.
