First Nintendo Pop-Up Store In Southeast Asia Arrives In Singapore From Nov

Nintendo fans in Southeast Asia, and especially Singapore can rejoice this November. For the first time in Southeast Asia, a Nintendo Pop-Up Store will be opening in Singapore for a limited time period, from 17 November to 1 January 2024.

The Singapore store, to be located in Jewel at Changi Airport (#04-220/221) will feature merchandise from popular games such as Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon and Pikmin. These exclusive merchandise were previously only available at Nintendo Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto stores.

Here is a sneak peek at what Nintendo fans can expect to purchase at the pop-up store this November. More original merchandise items will be unveiled closer to the launch date.

To celebrate the store opening, 6 exclusively designed postcards will be made available for shoppers who spend S$80 or more in a single transaction at the store. Each qualifying purchase will receive 1 of these limited edition postcards, while stocks last.

Gamers who check in to your Nintendo Account at the venue can also collect special stickers to mark this special event.  Each account user can check in once a day, and will receive 1 sticker from the 18 designs available. Sticker designs will be issued on a random basis.

To redeem the sticker, fans can log into their Nintendo accounts at the store and show the QR code issued on a tablet located at the store’s entrance. Upon verification by the on-ground staff, one random sticker will be issued.

Additionally, a collaboration campaign with Super Mario “PIPE AROUND THE WORLD” will also take place at Jewel Changi Airport to coincide with the pop-up store. Details of the campaign will be released soon so stay tuned.

More importantly, could this perhaps be a prelude to an official Nintendo Singapore store down the road? We definitely do think so, especially since there are plans to have a Super Nintendo World expansion at Universal Studios Singapore in the near future.
