Fantasy Springs, the long-awaited Tokyo DisneySea expansion, springs to life in a sneak peek at the new area, and Rapunzel’s kingdom is one of the three new zones being brought to life. The park will finally get a Frozen expansion, as well as a Peter Pan-themed zone, but the first-ever Tangled ride will be housed in Fantasy Springs.
Just like in the movie, visitors will get to go on a boat ride in Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, which will feature iconic locations from the film like Rapunzel’s tower, and the festival itself with floating lanterns gleaming.
Refuel at the Snuggly Duckling, which also recreates the tavern from the movie in stunning detail, and is large enough to seat plenty of guests. On the menu are juicy burgers and even a dessert served in Rapunzel’s frying pan, paired with refreshing drinks.
You’ll want to stay until the park closes, as the lanterns lining the streets will be lit up at night, giving the park an almost magical feel. At last, we’ll get to see the lights, and they’re real, and bright.
Rapunzel’s kingdom will welcome visitors on 6 June 2024, so don’t miss Fantasy Springs’ grand opening!
