Final Fantasy 16 has gotten great reviews since its release this year, and fans are in for a treat with two new paid DLC expansions to the game and news about a PC version being in development.
While details are scarce about the DLC expansions, Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida said that ” people wanted to see more of Valisthea’s story and spend more time with her inhabitants,” in an interview ahead of the game’s recent update.
The game’s newest update gave players a new free weapon, The Onion Sword, the ability to customise Clive’s sword with any weapon obtained and change the costumes of several characters in-game.
DLC content was not originally in the works for the game, but positive reviews and feedback from gamers who enjoyed Final Fantasy 16 made the studio consider producing additional content.
A PC version has also been officially announced, though there will be no expected release date until more updates arrive by the end of the year. We’re eagerly awaiting more news on Final Fantasy 16, so stay tuned for more updates!
