This year, the nominations reveal a diverse lineup, with Shōgun leading with a remarkable 25 nominations, including Best Drama Series. This category also features heavyweights like the final season of The Crown, Fallout, The Gilded Age, The Morning Show, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Slow Horses, and 3 Body Problem, showcasing a broad spectrum of storytelling excellence.

Adding to the excitement, The Bear sets a new benchmark for comedy series with 23 nods, closely followed by Only Murders in the Building with 21, True Detective: Night Country with 19, and The Crown with 18.

Last year’s ceremony, delayed due to industry strikes and celebrated on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, crowned Succession, The Bear, and Beef as the top winners in drama, comedy, and limited series categories, respectively. With Succession having concluded, a new drama champion will rise at the upcoming 2024 Emmys, set for programming aired from June 2023 through May 2024.
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards 2024 will air on 16 September at 8am SGT.
