A collaboration between Hello Kitty and Dr Martens isn’t something new yet it still excites us all the same.
Dr. Martens celebrated their 60th joint anniversary with Sanrio in one collaboration last year. The two brands have decided to team up once again on an all-new Dr. Martens X Hello Kitty And Friends venture.
This loud and colourful collaboration has Dr Marts putting a new take on their classic 1460 boot, 1461 shoe, Jadon platform and kids 1460 boot. What’s new is that this series will put a spotlight on characters from the Sanrio family including Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, My Melody and more.
With interchangeable laces of red and white, the style features overprints and motifs of the iconic characters. These designs put on a fresh new look mashing up Dr. Martens tough silhouette and the bright outlook of the Sanrio characters.
The collection will come in a full run of women’s and kid’s sizes and will launch on DrMartens.com on 4 March 2021.
