Mintrocket’s 2023 action-adventure and management hybrid game, Dave the Diver, has caught a massive milestone, as the title has now surpassed 10 million sales globally across its launch platforms.
This impressive achievement follows the launch of the game’s recent expansion, Dave the Diver – In the Jungle, which has also surpassed the 1 million sales mark since the DLC’s launch on 18 June. The game is also gearing up for a mobile launch on Android and iOS on 17 September, which will no doubt push its sales numbers even further.
“Everyone here at Mintrocket continues to be blown away by the passion and love that Dave the Diver attracts even years after launch,” said Mintrocket Head of Studio and Game Director Jaeho Hwang in a statement. “We are looking forward to expanding the Dave the Diver franchise in the future, including the upcoming cooking simulation and adventure spin-off, Bancho The Chef. We want to thank everyone who has shown their faith in us, and we can’t wait to share our future plans.”
Dave the Diver is a casual single-player deep-sea exploration adventure that blends two distinct gameplay styles. In the day, players will dive into the procedurally generated Blue Hole ocean to catch fish and complete quests, and then manage a restaurant and serve customers at night, customising their menu and steadily growing their reputation.

Over the three years since launch, the game has also seen regular additions, both free and paid, bringing new content to the game such as collaborations with other IPs including Godzilla, Like a Dragon, and Dredge. The most recent expansion, In the Jungle, added a brand new biome to the game and allowed players to engage in new quests and activities in a new forested and swampy region.
