At CES 2019 in Las Vegas, ASUS revealed their new addition to the super-slim Zephyrus line of gaming laptops, the ROG Zephyrus S GX701.
Don’t be fooled by her slender figure – the GX701 packs quite the wallop with an impressive utility belt of some of the latest gaming components that will give even some desktops a run for their money.
For starters, the GX701 comes equipped with the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 20 series of graphics cards, that fit quite snugly into its sleek chassis. On top of that, it allows up to 24GB of DDR4-2666 RAM to be installed.
To make such visuals work smoothly, the GX701 also features an 8th-gen Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor with a turbo clock speed of 4.1GHz. And to cap it off, its 17.3-inch screen has a 144Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync technology and Nvidia Optimus technology. This provides users not just the absolute best gaming experience, but also for streaming, video/photo editing, and broadcasting.
The ROG Zephyrus S GX701 so far has our attention, packing so much punch in so small a body. The price point, however, will be a different story, the details of which to be announced by ASUS at a later date. Keep this one on your tabs, though

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
