CD Projekt RED Opens New Wroclaw Studio For Cyberpunk 2077

After teasing about how Cyberpunk 2077 would be their most ambitious project yet, CD Projekt Red announced the acquisition of a new team and establishing a new studio to support the development of their next big RPG.

The new studio, christened CD Projekt Red Wroclaw, is based in Wroclaw, Poland. It is made up of 18 veteran game developers, mostly comprised of former members of the Wroclaw-based developer, Strange New Things.

The new Wroclaw studio will join CD Projekt Red Warsaw and Cracow to help bring the game to completion.

“Wrocław is one of the biggest and most technologically advanced cities in Poland and a playing field for serious creative talent”, CD Projekt President and CEO Adam Kicinski commented. “The founding dev team of CDPR Wrocław is already pretty stellar, but I still can’t wait to see what talents we’ll discover in new people along the way.”

With a company located in Wroclaw, it is now possible for them to attract the talents needed without asking them to relocate. The company has taken to its Twitter account to garner applications for serious developers wanting to join the team.
