It has been said, but let it be stated once again: Avengers: Infinity War is the greatest, most-anticipated Marvel movie yet, as far as 2018 goes.

With a worldwide release date of April 26, 2018, the time for grand, epic clashes, and blood-thumping adrenaline thrills is nigh. In Singapore and other selected countries, however, the cherry on the top comes in the form of an early premiere on April 25 instead.

WE CARE Community Services is looking to further sweeten the deal by bringing forth an Infinity War movie fundraiser, where every S$50 donation will entitle individuals to one ticket, a popcorn-and-drink combo, and a 250% tax rebate that will be automatically updated with IRAS for tax benefit purposes.

The details of the event are as follows:

  • Date: 25 April 2018, Thursday
  • Venue: The Cathay
  • Time: 6.15pm

Donations can be made via the donation page on the organisation’s website, after which tickets may be collected at Cathay’s reception table on the day of screening. All proceeds are to go towards WE CARE services, such as counselling, group therapy, and hosting programmes for people who suffer from addictions.

Honour the spirit of superhero movies, and be somebody’s superhero this April! Besides, the feeling of experiencing the best of both worlds isn’t bad at all – apart from the sheer enjoyment of the movie, there’s also the joy that comes with doing good.
