Commenting on the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 and returning to the world of Divinity, Vinke said that the developers in Larian “will need to refresh [themselves] creatively.”. 400 developers have worked on Baldur’s Gate 3 and will return to work on a new title once they have taken their break.

The success and quality of Balder’s Gate 3 has notably raised the bar for CRPGs and RPGs in general. It was so good that other game developers have called the game’s quality “an anomaly”.
