During the Mortal Kombat II Global Tour in Jakarta, Indonesia, cast members Joe Taslim (Bi-Han / Noob Saibot), Max Huang (Kung Lao), Ludi Lin (Liu Kang) and Tadanobu Asano (Lord Raiden) were presented with a Indonesian Pencak Silat martial arts demonstration, and some of them even took turns to teach the regional media and influencers some moves of their own.
