ASUS has just showcased a “Thincredible” lineup of their latest Zenbook and Vivobook series of laptops via an online launch event. The product launch was headlined by the world’s slimmest OLED ultraportable laptop, the ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304), with an incredible 1 cm profile and weighing just 1 kg!
We managed to get hold of the Zenbook S 13 OLED for an early hands-on look, so check it out in all its ultra-slim glory:
The Zenbook lineup also includes ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404), a compact and high-performance portable laptop that comes packed with up to the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, 16 GB of fast LPDDR5 memory, and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. There is also a bigger 14.5-inch 16:10 2.8K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen and a longer-lasting 10-hour, 70 Wh battery.
For those who prefer a convertible, there is the ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip OLED (UP3404) which now packs a bigger 14-inch 16:10 2.8K ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen, powered by the latest 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs, 75 Wh battery, 1.5 kg-light chassis at just 15.9 mm-thin, and a 360° any-position hinge for effortless versatility.
The show also featured ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED (K5404) and ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED (K5504). These stylish laptops come in four colours – Midnight Black, Cool Silver, Cream White, and Solar Blue. Measuring at 17.9 mm-thin and weighing at about 1.5 kg for the 14.5-inch version, and 1.7 kg for the 15.6-inch one, the Vivobook S series laptops are built for easy portability at an affordable price.
And finally, to mark the 30th anniversary of BAPE, ASUS will be launching a Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition (K5504) in late 2023. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED and ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED will be retailing at S$2,399 and S$1,699 respectively starting today and will be available at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorised retailers. Details about the availability, configurations, and pricing of other models announced during the Thincredible launch event will be announced at a later date.
