Among Us is releasing a new map and it is the biggest one yet. The game rose to fame during the quarantine period back in 2020 where everyone was eager to satisfy their boredom at home.
Developer InnerSloth announced recently that The Airship map will be available to players by 31 March where it will arrive with a free update including additional ladders, a basic account system for moderation and the best most exciting one yet, players are able to pick the room where they can start in.
The update will also come with new hats and accessories that players may look forward to use to customise their crewmate.
The game launched back in 2018 with only a single map, however, over the years, the developers were able to add two more which makes The Airship its fourth playable map. Although its success in 2020 caught the developers off-guard, the team worked on the game to ensure users an exciting playing time.
During the update InnerSloth went over the details of the challenges that came up during Among Us’ huge year, such as the maintenance, hiring, and a whole bunch of meetings.
With the efforts that the developers are putting into expanding the game for their users, it is no wonder that it continues to blow up in such a short span of time. The game has gotten so much popularity that it even has a movie dedicated to it. Though things might change considering that it’s fallen down the Twitch charts compared to the past.
Other than PC and mobile devices, Among Us is also available on the Nintendo Switch.
