Amazon Prime Video Singapore Now Offers R21 Rating For ‘The Boys’, ‘Gen V’ And More

Good news if you’ve been an Amazon Singapore Prime member all these years but have been frustrated at the lack of content on Prime Video such as big hits like The Boys. It seems Amazon Singapore has recently updated the Prime Video dashboard to include viewing restrictions up to “R21” rating, which unlocks more adult-oriented content for your viewing pleasure.

Gen V.

With that, the latest shows such as The Boys spin-off series, Gen V, are now watchable, along with all three seasons of The Boys and Season 1 of Invincible.

In order to get your account set up to unlock the shows, you’ll have to get to PrimeVideo.com on your web browser and follow these steps:

  • Login to your Amazon account (but of course).
  • Mouse over your profile and head to “Account & Settings”.
  • Select “Restrictions” and set up a new 5-digit Prime Video Account PIN.
  • Once that’s done and saved, refresh the page and you should have access to R21-rated films.

Next up, head over to Gen V and you should see an “Age verification required” prompt at the top. Hit the “Verify” link and verify your age, provided you’re aged 21 and above, and you’re all set.
