The BYGGLEK (Swedish for “build, play”) collection has finally landed on our shores (this week) in Singapore. We’ll take a quick look at what to expect from the collection thanks to this special customized drop from IKEA Singapore which comprises the largest-sized BYGGLEK storage box and the 201-piece BYGGLEK brick set that’s exclusive to IKEA stores.
Prices start from S$19.90 and will be officially launched on 18 February 2021. The range consists of four sets:
- BYGGLEK LEGO Box with lid (Large) – S$24.90
- BYGGLEK LEGO Box with lid (Medium) – S$19.90
- BYGGLEK LEGO Box with lid, set of 3 (Small) – S$19.90
- BYGGLEK LEGO 201-piece brick set – S$24.90
Out of the box, the 201-piece brick set contains a nice mix of starter elements such as windows, plants, food items, a door, and two minifigs. This is where you’ll have to get creative with creating steps, furniture and decorations for your storage box.
Kids will bound to have a blast letting their imagination run wild with not only the upper surface of the storage box lid but also the four “inlets” on each side of the box. We had a little fun of our own creating a window sill with plants atop, a mini gateway of sorts, and a cutesy frog feature.
