‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ Unveils Cover Art & Vice City Skyline, Pre-Orders Start In June

Ahead of what’s perhaps the biggest gaming launch of the year (if it even happens), Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI, which is set to launch on 19 November 2026, the studio has released the official cover art for the game, a new look at the impressive skyline of its setting of Vice City, alongside revealing that pre-orders will begin this month.

GTA 6’s cover art was revealed via a brief 30-second teaser, which follows the franchise tradition with multiple panels of stylised shots featuring different scenes, such as its main protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, various vehicles like a supercar and a motorbike, one of its supporting characters, Boobie Ike, as well as a few other unknown individuals which will no doubt play some role in the game’s storyline.

Meanwhile, on Rockstar’s official game page, the studio also added a new image of Vice City’s skyline, a dynamic shot of the city at night that animates as visitors scroll through the website. The image shows a decent look at many of the game’s world elements, such as its many high-rise buildings, which players can hopefully explore, or the various vehicles across land, sea, and air that they could potentially pilot.

These reveals also coincide with the announcement that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will open on 25 June 2026, which is a pretty bold move by Rockstar, considering the game has yet to reveal any form of official gameplay footage to date. Leave it to Rockstar to build hype and convince people to drop their hard-earned cash with cinematic videos alone. This will also be the date that the price of the game will finally be revealed, and all eyes are on the studio to see if the game will stick to the current conventions of video game pricing, or whether the bar will be raised even higher.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on 19 November 2026 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
