‘Wednesday’ Season 3 First-Look Photo Whisks Jenna Ortega Away To Paris

Wednesday Addams is going places… quite literally. Amid filming for Season 3 of Wednesday, Netflix has released a first look at the upcoming outing, featuring the titular character in a setting outside of Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday Season 3

In a photo posted on Instagram, Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday is spotted in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, accompanied by Thing (Victor Dorobantu) — the sentient, disembodied hand who’s also a key member of the Addams family — atop a motorcycle. “From Paris, with dread,” reads its caption.

While plot details remain under wraps, it seems likely that Enid (Emma Myers) is the reason behind Wednesday’s stopover in France. The second season ended with the duo riding in the sidecar of the latter’s uncle Fester’s (Fred Armisen) motorcycle to track down Enid, who fled into the wilderness after becoming trapped in her alpha wolf form.

Joining Ortega, Dorobantu, Myers, and Armisen as returning mainstays are Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Billie Piper (Isadora Capri), Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Sheriff Ritchie Santiago), Eevie Templeton (Agnes DeMille), and Joanna Lumley (Grandmama Hester Frump).

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez will also reprise their roles as Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams, and Pugsley Addams, respectively, with Eva Green joining the cast as Morticia’s sister, Aunt Ophelia. Other newcomers include Winona Ryder, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer, all playing undisclosed roles.

No release date has been set for Season 3 of Wednesday, executive-produced by showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, as well as director Tim Burton. It’s unclear whether the third season will follow in its predecessor’s shoes and release as a two-parter.
