Amazon has brought forward its Prime Video premiere of Fallout Season Two by a day, with the announcement made in the most surprising and festive way possible.
To promote the launch of Season Two, alongside its new release date, the Sphere in Las Vegas was transformed into a snow globe featuring the show’s characters Lucy (Ella Purnell, Sweetpea), Maximus (Aaron Moten, Emancipation), and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins, The White Lotus), as well as a Deathclaw, one of the game’s iconic mini-boss enemies, trying to break through the Sphere itself, with the entire spectacle posted on the show’s social media pages.
Originally set for release at 6pm PT on 17 December, the first episode of Fallout Season Two will now premiere one day earlier on 16 December, 6pm PT (17 December 10am SGT). The season will run for eight episodes on Prime Video, with one episode per week until its finale on 4 February 2026.
Picking things up following the events of Season One, Fallout Season Two will see Lucy forming an unlikely alliance with the Ghoul, with the duo venturing into the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas in search of her villainous father Hank (Kyle MacLachlan, Twin Peaks). Meanwhile, Maximus and the Brotherhood of Steel gear up for what looks like a full-scale invasion from an unknown party, as seen in the season’s trailer.
Series regulars Moisés Arias (Hannah Montana) and Frances Turner (The Boys) are also set to return as Norm MacLean and Barb Howard, respectively, alongside new faces like Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals) as a high-ranking Brotherhood of Steel official and Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), who is set to play a “genius-like character”.

Additionally, ahead of Season Two’s release, Fallout’s third chapter is already planned to begin production in Summer 2026, with executive producer Jonathan Nolan previously stating that the team wants to avoid the common TV trend of long wait times in between seasons.
Fallout Season Two will now premiere on Prime Video on 16 December, 6pm PT (17 December 10am SGT).
