Toby Fox’s indie darling Undertale is a success story for the ages, and with good reason. Storytelling, characterisation, and gameplay aside, its stellar soundtrack played a significant role in capturing the hearts – and ears – of many, so it was only apt that a special 10th anniversary concert was held last year to celebrate its musical legacy.

For fans who were unable to bask in the tunes then, Undertale: The Determination Symphony comes in as the manifestation of their Hopes and Dreams. The 25-piece orchestra is set to premiere in San Jose on 23 August, before making its way across the globe, with a Singapore stop scheduled for 22 September at Esplanade Theatre.
Performed by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, it welcomes Thanapol Setabrahmana as conductor (and whom enthusiasts would recognise from the Stardew Valley, Genshin Impact, and How to Train Your Dragon concerts) and will display gameplay footage on a screen above the stage. Concert-goers can expect a 120-minute trip down memory lane, from the Ruins and Snowdin to Waterfall, Hotland, and finally New Home.
Tickets for the Singapore leg of Undertale: The Determination Symphony will go on sale on SISTIC starting 20 March at 10am SGT (GMT+8), with prices ranging from S$78 to S$158. Within Asia, the orchestra is also set to grace Shanghai, Kaohsiung, and Bangkok on yet-to-be-determined dates.
