It has taken 18 years for Ubisoft to bring its beloved stealth-based series to the oft-requested setting of feudal Japan, but Assassin’s Creed Shadows proved to be well worth the wait. Featuring the franchise’s first full-fledged dual-protagonist experience, inklings of which can be traced back to 2015’s Syndicate, it follows the samurai Yasuke and the shinobi Naoe, who must reconcile their differences as opposing forces in an ongoing conflict to face a common enemy.
Celebrating the highly-anticipated outing is a generous spread of physical and digital goodies, bundled into a handsome Collector’s Edition. Retailing for US$229.99 / S$310, it finds a delightful centrepiece in a finely crafted diorama spotlighting the main duo, complemented by various nods to the title.

Standing tall and mighty at 40cm, the character statue depicts Naoe and Yasuke fighting side by side on the battlefield, with detailed painting and hand-made finishes added to their iconic weapons, armour design, base plate, and more.
The elaborate polish also extends to other offerings in the Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collector’s Edition, as seen from the nice touch of Naoe and Yasuke’s name on the steelbook, alongside the adornments on the wall scroll — a peaceful cat and torii gate that pay tribute to Japanese culture, and the game’s logo and a block phrase referencing the Assassin’s Creed (but with a slight twist) serving to honour its origins.
