Weighing in at 2354 pieces, the Space Shuttle Discovery set is a joy to put together with the Hubble Space Telescope. There’s little repetition in the build as each bag brings about significant change outside of the main base. Flipping through the manual, LEGO drops nice information nuggets to break up the monotony of the build.

It’ll take about 10 hours to build this awesome set together and it’s unlikely you’d want to complete this in one setting.

Do check out the speed build of the LEGO 10283 Space Shuttle Discovery and close-ups to help you make the purchase decision –

Starting off with the Hubble Space Telescope, prospective buyers of this set will face a small speed bump as one builds the main body of the shuttle together. Following that, at about the twelfth bag in, the entire set moves at rocket speed right to the end.

There are actually minimal stickers that go along with the set and make for an excellent display piece in the home.

If you’re wondering how much space the entire shuttle takes, it measures around 60 cm from tail to nose cone.

The LEGO 10283 Space Shuttle Discovery can be purchased from Lazada or Shopee and LEGO Certified stores from 1 April 2021 onwards. The LEGO 10283 Space Shuttle Discovery will retail officially at S$279.90 (US$199.99).
