According to a new listing on Amazon, the next instalment to Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs series will be called Watch Dogs Legion and will be based in London.

The listing was originally spotted and reported by The Nerd Mag and according to the product’s description, the game will be set in a “post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes.”

Perhaps what is the most interesting tidbit about the newest Watch Dogs game is that it seems all NPCs will be playable. The description adds that players will get to “play as anyone. Every individual you meet in the open world has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated and guided by gameplay systems.”

According to Kotaku, the things you will see and experience in-game will differ according to which NPC you are playing as. This system was also so ambitious that it caused the developers of Watch Dogs Legion a lot of headaches and might have caused one delay.

The first Watch Dogs was set in Chicago while the second instalment took place in San Francisco.

It is no surprise that a major Ubisoft game got leaked ahead of its E3 showcase, with Roller Champions being leaked last month.

There is no word yet on when Watch Dogs Legion will be released though it is highly likely that it is one of three Ubisoft games that will be released between January and March 2020.

We will likely learn more about Watch Dogs Legion during Ubisoft’s showcase at E3 2019 so stay tuned for more information.
