Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Parachutes In AI Teammates This Week

With all the latest trailers and reveals happening during Ubisoft Forward, you might think Ubisoft is preparing to leave their current offerings behind. However, that is not the case, especially for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

In fact, Title Update 2.1.0 will arrive on 15 July, and bring with it some major changes. At the top of the list is the return of AI teammates. Solo players no longer have to worry about being downed in enemy territory without support.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s AI Teammates will retain gameplay features and abilities present with teammates in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, including the ability to execute given orders, the sync shot, and keeping each other alive. Additionally, you can fully customize their physical attributes and gear. Players will also be able to pick their AI teammates’ main weapon, affecting the way they engage enemies in the world.

A new live event will also make its debut in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Starting on 16 July, Resistance will see players supporting the Outcasts in their pushback against Sentinel forces.

By completing the live event’s missions, players will have a direct impact on the presence of rebels throughout Auroa. This will create an opportunity for the Outcasts to initiate faction warfare between them and Sentinel forces, or with the Wolves. Players will unlock 14 exclusive rewards upon completing missions during the live event. Resistance will end on 29 July.
