Timothée Chalamet And The Fremen Wage War In New ‘Dune 2’ Trailer

Whoever thought Dune was a snooze will eat dirt, or rather, spice when Dune: Part 2 officially comes out.

A new trailer for the anticipated movie was released and it is a lot more epic and action-packed compared to the first one. We also get better looks at new characters played by Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, and Florence Pugh, as well as returning stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.

In this sequel, Paul Atreides (Chalamet) teams up with Chani (Zendaya) and the blue-eyed Fremen to wage war against the Harkonnens, who in the first movie, destroyed Paul’s family. He must also juggle his new powers, the prophecy and his love for Chani.

While we didn’t see much of Chani in the first movie, the new trailer suggests that we will see Chani take more action in Dune: Part 2 as she uses a high-tech rocket launcher to take down Harkonnen ships and engage in hand-combat with her enemies.

Paul is also seen riding a sandworm and we get a glimpse of a climatic battle between the young Duke and Butler’s Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the nephew of Baron Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgard) and heir to Arrakis.

Dune: Part 2 releases in theatres on 3 November.
