Jon Favreau To Direct ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Movie

In a major announcement for Star Wars fans, Lucasfilm has revealed that The Mandalorian series will transition to the big screen with a new movie titled The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Officially confirmed by the official Star Wars website, this move aligns with Lucasfilm’s vision of expanding its feature-development slate, which includes several other exciting projects.

Jon Favreau, renowned for his pivotal role in shaping the series, will direct the film. He will be joined by Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filoni in producing the movie. “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” said Favreau. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”
