Mark your calendars: the first official full trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will finally debut on Monday Night Football on October 21, somewhere between 9.30pm – 10pm AET / October 22, 9.30am – 10am SGT!
Thanks to the folks at Black Series Rebels, this trailer will drop during the half-time show in the game between the New York Jets and New England Patriots.
Furthermore, October 21 is also the birthday of the late Carrie Fisher a.k.a Leia Solo, which is the nicest of touches.
Expect to see more of (Sith?) Rey (Daisy Ridley), and her companions, Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and maybe even Wedge Antilles (Denis Lawson), as they take on Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the Knights of Ren.
So don’t say we didn’t tell you. The beginning of the end of the Skywalker Saga is upon us!
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases theatrically on December 19, 2019.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
