The HR Giger Museum is located in a small medieval

The HR Giger Museum is located in a small medieval town of Gruyères at the top of an 82-metre-high hill in Switzerland (between the lake of Geneva and the city of Fribourg). Admission to the museum is a very reasonable CHF 12.50 for adults, CHF 8.50 for Seniors & Students, and CHF 4 for Children (aged 6 to 16).

There’s even a Giger Bar right opposite the museum (check out our other video) and HR Giger’s tombstone is nearby at a church’s graveyard.

Located right across from the HR Giger Museum in Gruyères, Switzerland (between the lake of Geneva and the city of Fribourg) is the HR Giger Museum Bar. A must-visit for Giger fans. You would have to buy a drink in order to be allowed to take photos and videos. Definitely try the “Alien Coffee” (CHF 15 for alcoholic and CHF 10 for non-alcoholic version) to complete your experience.

Thereafter, don’t forget to head to the nearby church’s graveyard to visit HR Giger’s tombstone and pay your respects to the man.
