Sony’s Next State Of Play Will Be Happening On May 9

Sony has officially announced the date of their next State of Play which will feature announcements for their upcoming games but sadly will not be including any new information on their PlayStation 5.

As announced on the PlayStation blog, the next State of Play will take place on May 9, at 11pm BST (approximately May 10, 6am SGT). The presentation will take around 10 minutes and is confirmed to feature an extended look at the upcoming PlayStation 4 remake of MediEvil, as well as the debut of a new title from PlayStation Worldwide Studios.

Not much else is known beyond that. While Sony has promised to release “other updates and announcements from upcoming PS4 games”, without an actual confirmation it is best to not expect too much.

One thing Sony will definitely not be delving into is the upcoming PlayStation 5. “Don’t expect any updates relating to our next-generation plans this time,” Sony wrote on their blog post “Sorry!”

Those looking to catch Sony’s State of Play will be able to do so on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
