Sony Reveals Four New Colours For Their DualShock Controllers

Since it’s launch back in 2013, the Sony PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless controller has been released in more than 25 different colour variants. Now, six years after its release, Sony will be adding four official new limited edition colours to the controller: Electric Purple, Red Camouflage, Titanium Blue, and Rose Gold.

Here is a closer look at the four soon-to-be-released colours,

Rose Gold

This controller is both sleek and sophisticated, and comes in a gorgeous gold metallic finish, with subtle rose hues.

Red Camouflage

For those feeling bold and adventurous, you can consider getting this controller which is certainly the loudest looking one out of the four, thanks to its combination of black, red, and brown “camouflage pattern paired with silver detailing for extra flare”.

Titanium Blue

This controller’s appeal is in its simplicity. It combines “a metallic top cover with light blue detailing” with a matte blue back, merging both matte and metallic finishes into one chic looking controller.

 Electric Purple

This bright controller will certainly make you the talk of any gaming session with its two-tone purple design. It also has a white PlayStation Family Mark, which essentially means the right control buttons are in all white this time, instead of the usual green, pink, red, and blue.

These limited edition controllers will be released sometime in September and will retail for S$84.90

Apart from the four DualShock controllers, Sony will also be releasing a limited edition Gold Wireless headset in Rose Gold later this October. According to Sony, the new metallic headset will offer the same audio features that players have come to love about their Gold Wireless Headset, only this time it will come in a Rose Gold metallic finish.

The headset will be retailing for S$149.
