SEGA has officially announced the latest title to make it to the next gen – Sonic Colors: Ultimate.
The 3D action game has players surging through obstacles at extremely high speed, Sonic Colors: Ultimate is a remaster that brings back all its original characters and the vibrant environment from the 2010 game Sonic Colors in all-new improved graphics and resolution.
In addition to that, many of the soundtracks for each act and bosses have been revamped and remixed to offer a whole new immersive experience.
That said, the game will also offer new content and customizable features for the players as they’ll encounter strange robots and colourful creatures called Wisps. These companions will help players unleash special moves and abilities as they progress through the stages to defeat Dr. Eggman.
Sonic Colors: Ultimate is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC (via Epic Games Store) on 7 September 2021.
