Singapore Comic Con (SGCC) is set to make a grand return on 7 and 8 December at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, promising a weekend packed with entertainment and excitement for pop culture enthusiasts. Tickets for this highly anticipated event are already available, offering fans early access to a world of comics, toys, cosplay, tabletop gaming, and more.
SGCC 2024, celebrated as a family-friendly event, caters to a diverse audience, from hardcore comic collectors to families looking for a fun-filled weekend. The convention spans two levels of the Sands Expo and covers four exhibition halls, totalling 200,000 square feet, filled with more than 400 exhibiting companies and 480 brands.
Noteworthy participants this year include Mighty Jaxx, Mediacorp, 52 Toys by Gift Greetings, Lego by The Brickshop, Wizards of the Coast, SaberMach, Simply Toys, Top Toy, and Bluey. First-time exhibitors like Three Zero, Joy Toy, and Kasagi Labo, a leading anime venture studio, are also joining the lineup.
A special feature of this year’s SGCC is the global premiere of the XXRAY: One Piece Luffy Wanted Series Treasure Gold Edition from Mighty Jaxx. This exclusive figurine, inspired by the iconic wanted poster of Luffy, is crafted in a striking gold finish, highlighting the bounty of the Straw Hat crew leader.
SGCC 2024 also boasts a star-studded guest lineup, including comic creators, celebrities, and video content creators, with the full list to be announced on SGCC’s social media platforms.
In a special segment called Space Rangers @ SGCC, Iconic Bliss Entertainment will bring Christopher Khayman Lee (Andros, Red Space Ranger), Selwyn Ward (T.J. Johnson, Blue Space Ranger/Red Turbo Ranger), and Justin Nimmo (Zhane, Silver Space Ranger) for their first-ever appearance in Singapore. Fans will have the chance to meet these heroes up close, collect autographs, and purchase exclusive merchandise.
Ticketing for SGCC starts at S$38 for a single-day pass, with free entry for children under 8 (each ticket holder can bring two kids under 8 for free). Early birds who purchase their tickets before August 31 can enjoy discounts on various ticket bundles and exclusive merchandise.
